The White Sox received both Wednesday afternoon in a 5-3 victory at the Kansas City Royals for win number five of six. Chicago starter Lucas Giolito allowed a run on four hits and three bases on balls over 6.1 frames before Danny Furquhar gave up a pair of runs in 2/3 of an inning for a blown save. The White Sox totaled ten hits and walked three times with Adam Engel driving in two on a double while Avisail Garcia and Tyler Saladino each scored and drove in a run.
