Norwegian Cycling Federation (NCF) is proud to once more be hosting the biggest international cycling event – the UCI Road World Championships. This will be the second time in the history of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) that Norway is host country.

The 2017 UCI Road World Championships are being held in 2017 in Bergen, Norway. It is the 90th UCI Road World Championships and the second to be held in Norway, after the 1993 world championships in Oslo. Bergen was chosen as the Norwegian Candidate Host City in 2011, and since then the NCF, the City of Bergen, Hordaland County Council and the neighbouring municipalities of Askøy, Fjell, Sund and Øygarden have worked together to host this fantastic event
