Match Details:
11th Match, Group B - India v England
M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore
Time: 9:00 GMT, 14:30 India.
The bowling line up of India is not as strong as compared to its batting line ups still on a good day bowlers like Zaheer Khan, who is in his best form of his career along with Sreesanth and Nehra if fit is likely to taste the English batsmen. Spinner Harbhajan Singh who is himself a character in the field along with Piyush Chawla and the spin of all rounder Yusuf Pathan is very good one as far as spin department is concerned.
Moreover Bangalore wicket has the reputation to assist spinners to some extent too.
For England it will be like an acid test for them and hope that the opening pair of Indian team doesn’t click against them.Engliand got strong batting line up and most of their batsman are in good form. Captain Andrew Strauss and likely opener Kevin Pietersen is expected to exploit the opening spell of Indian attack. Jonathan Trott, Ian Bell, Ravi Bopara and Paul Collingwood give stable to the middle order. But their weakness is exposed mostly against the spin attack.
The English team got a very good pace bowling attack which includes Stuart Broad, James Anderson and Tim Bresnan. Graeme Swann is a good spin bowler.
Team winning the toss will like to bat first on a flat track and it is expected to be 280 plus wicket. The winning chances of India to England is 60:40.
