2011 March Madness Schedule Has Penn State Looking to Upset Temple
The Penn State Nittany Lions will try to claw the Temple Owls in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on March 17, game time 2:10 p.m. EST on TNT. The Lions barely squeaked into the NCAA Tournament and had some experts doubting their inclusion.
Wisconsin Badgers simply played poorly against the Lions on March 11, a 36-33 win by the Lions.
But there's also the argument that the Lions played well in the final stretch.
Although they didn't beat anyone big names in this field besides Wisconsin, they played tough basketball in the second half against Purdue and Ohio State in the last game. It should be remembered that they also beat Michigan State and Illinois in the first half of the season.
