Prince William and Catherine Middleton Royal Wedding

The wedding of Prince William of Wales and Catherine "Kate" Middleton is scheduled to take place at Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011 at 11am BST (UTC+1). Today, on April 29th 2011 Prince William and Kate Middleton finally get married.Today, Miss Middleton will become the official wife of Prince William and will vow to love, comfort, honour and keep him.

The wedding will be broadcast live on all major TV channels worldwide. The wedding day was released yesterday, and it includes the marriage service at 11 a.m., the carriage procession at 12.15 p.m. and the official dinner.

William and his brother Prince Harry, 26, who is his best man, are expected to arrive at 10.15am.Royal fans lined the streets of London by the tens of thousands Friday, hoping to snatch a glimpse of history as Prince William weds Kate Middleton in a marriage expected to revive Britain's beleaguered monarchy.Just one aspect of the preparations involves clothing and dressing the Royal family, visiting house guests, the Royal bridal party, uniforms, and more.

Prince William, who is second in the line of succession to Queen Elizabeth II, first met Middleton in 2001, while both were students at the University of St Andrews. Their engagement, which began on 20 October 2010, was announced on 16 November 2010.

The route of the bride and groom goes between Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, by The Mall, passing Clarence House, by Horse Guards Road, Horse Guards Parade, through Horse Guards Arch, Whitehall, the south side of Parliament Square, and Broad Sanctuary.

Broadcasting

The wedding will be widely broadcast on television, internet and radio. It has been estimated that the coverage will be watched by two billion people worldwide.[69] ITV[70] BBC[71] and CNN will cover the ceremony and associated events live through the combined pool of footage from the BBC, Sky and ITN to help cover the overall cost.[69] In the United States, which is five to eight hours behind British Summer Time, the wedding will occur during the time usually taken up by network breakfast television programmes, which will expand their normal length to allow for full coverage. NBC's Today will begin coverage at 4 am Eastern Time and will partner with ITV.[72] ABC will partner with BBC,[73] CBS has its own live London affiliates,[74] and Fox will partner with Sky News. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation will carry BBC coverage, while CTV will have live coverage.[76] Cable networks and radio will also have live coverage.[77] The Australian Broadcasting Corporation will also take the BBC feed in Australia, in addition with Pay TV UKTV. Coverage will also be found on the Seven Network, Nine Network and Network Ten. There were plans by the ABC to produce alternative commentary with The Chaser, but the BBC has since barred the use of such footage on orders from Clarence House.[78] The royal wedding will also be streamed live online on Youtube via The Royal Channel.

2011 NBA Playoffs

2011 NBA Playoffs is the postseason for the National Basketball Association's 2010–11 season. Eight teams from each of the league's two conferences qualify for the playoffs, all seeded 1 to 8 in a tournament bracket, with all rounds in a best-of-seven format. The 2011 NBA Playoffs began on Saturday April 16, 2011.

The 3 division winners and 5 other teams with the most wins from each conference qualified for the playoffs. The seedings are based on each team's record. however, a division champion is guaranteed to be ranked at least fourth, regardless of their record and their winnings.

The Spurs lost to the Grizzlies, who won their first playoff game in team history, while the Lakers fell to the Hornets. Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic tied a franchise record with 46 points (31 in the 1st half) in Game 1 of the 1st Round against the Atlanta Hawks, tying Tracy McGrady's total in Game 2 of the 2003 First Round against the Detroit Pistons.

Clemson UNC Asheville advance NCAA Tournament

Clemson moving on to the NCAA Tournament second round with No. 5 seed West Virginia on Thursday in Tampa. Asheville were to win NCAA tournament games, there was no time to celebrate. Clemson defeated Alabama-Birmingham 70-52 in the first round of the NCAA tournament Tuesday.

Jerai Grant said: "Rest is going to be a big factor for us." "We'll do the best we can to put a plan together and try to execute," said coach Brad Brownell. Jerai Grant scored a career-best 22 points and the fast-starting Tigers built a double-figure lead and never backed off in beating Alabama-Birmingham 70-52 on Tuesday. Clemson won’t have much time to enjoy its first victory in the tournament since 1997.

Pitt is the No. 1 seed in the Southeast Region. UNC Asheville pulled it out with a tournament-worthy performance by its best player. The Bulldogs led for only 51 seconds in regulation, before Dickey asserted himself. Bozeman said: "Dickey made some big plays coming off ball screens." Johnson had six points, seven assists, four rebounds, two steals and six turnovers before leaving the game. Clemson consistently pounded the ball into its big men in the first half, scoring 28 points in the paint and skipping the option of shooting from the outside.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni - Chennai Super Kings

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, About this sound pronunciation (born July 7, 1981 in Ranchi, Bihar) (now in Jharkhand) is an Indian cricketer and the current captain of the Indian national cricket team.

The Chennai Super Kings paid a whopping $1.5 million dollars for MS Dhoni at the player auctions in 2008 and have now retained him in the second round of auctions, a testament to his talent and usefulness as a cricketer. ‘Captain Cool’ to his myriad fans, MS Dhoni is a player for all seasons.

Dhoni is a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. Dhoni is one of the number of wicket-keepers who have come through the ranks of junior and India A cricket teams to represent the national team — Parthiv Patel, Ajay Ratra and Dinesh Karthik also followed this route. Dhoni, referred to as 'Mahi' by his friends, debuted in the Bihar cricket team during the 1998/99 cricket season and was selected to represent India-A for a tour to Kenya in 2004.

Kumar Sangakkara - Deccan Chargers

He used to play as a wicket-keeper and top-order batsman in all forms of the game, but has stopped doing so in Tests as his batting average is significantly higher in Tests when he plays as a pure batsman.

'Sanga' belongs to a rare breed of cricketers who are poised with both grace and flamboyance. His understanding of the game is unparallel and as captain of the Sri Lankan side he has proven that there is a great head on those shoulders.
