Sri Lanka will hope to take on Kenya in a Group A match here at the R Premadasa Stadium on Tuesday. Sri Lanka sits in third place in the group with a win and loss while Kenya is in seventh and last place with two losses. R. Sri Lanka beat Canada by 210 runs and lost a close match to Pakistan by 11 runs. Kenya lost by 10 wickets to New Zealand and by 205 runs to Pakistan.Kenya, on the other hand, have been dismal in their batting in the two games, managing just 69 against New Zealand and 112 against Pakistan. Sri Lanka’s bowling too will be under the spotlight as the hosts have kept strike bowlers Lasith Malinga and Ajantha Mendis out till now.Kenyans will be looking for Steve Tikolo to lead the way at bat. He had a century earlier in the month during a warm-up match and scored 96 runs against Sri Lanka back in the World Cup in 1996.
